Friday 19th August 6pm: liminal will give a talk about the history of the project and the relationship it has to their ongoing project Tranquillity is a State of Mind developed in partnership with Sustrans (the sustainable transport charity). Working with an acoustician, a neuroscientist and an audiologist we developed a proposal for a listening aid for the site at Diglis weir, Organ of Corti is a prototype for the original proposal of Cochlea Unwound. Also part of the Tranquillity is State of Mind project is Rob Colbourne's “Twenty Feet to an Inch”.

The talk will be held at The Commandery (109 Sidbury, Worcester WR1 2HU) a wonderful Grade 1 listed site dating back to the 12th century, The Commandery is part of the Worcester Museums and has had a long and varied history that is reflected in its range of architectural styles from medieval to Victorian. We would recommend you take the opportunity to arrive early and take time to look around the museum, in our opinion it is fantastic. The talk is free but you do need to book online through Worcester Music Festival
